FEMA Attending Local Events to Help Survivors in Skowhegan

FEMA will be assisting survivors of the December 17–21 storm and flooding in Skowhegan this weekend at local events. There will be representatives available to answer questions, assist with the FEMA application process, and provide overall support to the community by assisting with disaster-related relief.

The events this weekend are:

Skowhegan Farmers’ Market
Saturday, February 17, 2024, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Boynton’s Green House
144 Madison Ave., Skowhegan, ME 04976

Skowhegan Winter Sleigh Ride
Sunday, February 17th, 2024, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Coburn Park
419 Water St., Skowhegan, ME 04976

Applications must be in before April 1, 2024.

Any residents who lost time at work because of the storms may also call Disaster Unemployment Assistance at 1-800-593-7660. Deadline is March 4, 2024.
