Tuesday, July 14, 2020, all Municipalities in the State of Maine will be holding the State’s Primary and Special Referendum Election. The Town of New Portland will also be having the School Budget Referendum Election
The polls will be open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. The election will be taking place at 911 River Road in the Community Room / Fire Station.
There will be a few changes that I have had to make to ensure that we are complying with the social distancing rules.
Some of these changes are:
• Only 2 voters will be allowed at a time in the building
• The voters that are waiting outside will need to maintain at least 6 feet from each other
• Use the provided hand sanitizer before entering the building
