The New Portland Community Library has a free trial of a great website from Scholastic. Does anyone out there have memories of listening to books on tape or more recently cd? Well, this allows your children to watch and listen to a story being read to them. It pairs fiction with nonfiction and is a wonderful way to enjoy a story. Try it out and let me know what you think. We get it for free for the next couple of weeks. It is great for children up to about 4th grade. Click on the link below and then type in the username and password.
